Do you offer samples?

All order ship with free samples, and up to 2 can be chosen at checkout. Additionally, we are also sold in many of your favorite retailers where our products can be sampled.

What skin types are Supergoop! products suitable for?

Our products are appropriate for all skin types: they’re dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic, non-irritating, and paraben free.

Will my product dry/freeze/melt/expire/etc.?

If the product is subjected to excessive cold or heat for short periods of time, it will not impact the product’s efficacy, though it may result in a thicker or thinner texture. Regarding expiration dates, we recommend that they be used within 6 months after opening for best product quality.

Do you test on animals?

No, at Supergoop!, we do not test on animals and are completely dedicated to being a cruelty-free company. Our raw materials and/or ingredients are not tested on animals by us, nor do we purchase anything from third parties who test on animals. It is stipulated in the contractual agreements with our labs that all raw materials used in our formulas must be certified cruelty-free.

Do your products contain oxybenzone?

No, oxybenzone is used in many sunscreens because it effectively provides broad spectrum protection from UV radiation. The problem is, it can be absorbed through the skin and has been linked to hormone disruption and cell damage that can cause skin cancer. All of Supergoop!’s products are oxybenzone-free and instead use other safe ingredients that provide broad spectrum protection.


How can I update my order?

Please email us at as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or change your order. Our fulfillment center processes orders quickly, but we’ll do our best to process your request.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can view order status on your Account page, which will be updated as soon as you are charged for your shipment and again once your order ships.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards as well as Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Unfortunately, we cannot accept checks or money orders.

Can I use multiple promo codes at checkout?

Only one promo code can be used per order. If you’ve encountered more than one valid Supergoop! promo code, please choose the one you want to use more.

Gift Cards

How can I redeem a gift card?

Click the REDEEM GIFT CARD link in the email you were sent. Create an account or log in and enter the code to redeem the monetary value.

How can I pay with a gift card?

Gift cards work like store credit on Once you have applied the gift card to your account, it will automatically apply to your next purchase. If you do not have enough store credit in your account to complete the purchase, you can pay the remaining balance with your credit card.


What’s your return policy?

If you are not satisfied with any purchase and would like an exchange or a refund, we will work with you to find a solution within 30 days of purchase.

How do I start an exchange or return?

In order to start an exchange or return, just head to and enter your email. From there, we’ll send you an email that links to your order history where you can select the item(s) you’d like to exchange or return. If exchanging, we’ll ship the new item within 24 hours of your selection. If returning, you will be able to print a prepaid return label, and we will also issue you an Instant Refund Gift Card while you wait.

What is an "Instant Refund Gift Card" and how do I use it?

Once you move through the returns steps online, you will be issued a temporary Instant Refund. The Instant Refund will be equal to the value of your returns and gives you the flexibility to place a new order right away, rather than wait for a credit card refund. Because we understand that things like the perfect SPF can’t really wait.

What happens if I don’t use my "Instant Refund?"

Once your return items are processed, we will deactivate the Instant Refund gift card and issue a refund for any outstanding balance back to your original payment method (or issue an exchange if you requested one).

If you did not use any of your Instant Refund, you will receive a full refund for these items. If you used the Instant Refund in full, then get outside and #LiveBright with your new SPF!

Why doesn’t my "Instant Refund" match the price of the item I’m returning?

Most likely because  you used a discount code on your order. Our returns system will show the price paid rather than the value of the item.

How long does an exchange or return take to process?

Exchange items will be sent out as soon as you request them. For a refund associated with a return, it can take up 10-15 business days for the refund to appear on your statement. Our return center is located in Texas, and once we have your items processed, we’ll send the refund your way.

Refunds will be credited to your original payment method for the price of your product, and sales tax, if applicable. Only items purchased on may be exchanged or returned. Products purchased through may not be exchanged or returned at any retail location that sells Supergoop! Products.

Where can I find my shipping label?

Just make your way to and move through the usual return steps. You’ll receive a prepaid shipping label once we know which item(s) you’re sending our way.

For exchanges, you can try a new color / size for any style when selecting which items you’re sending back. This is based on available inventory. We’ll ship the new color / size right away!

What should I do if a product was missing or I received the wrong product?

If you didn’t receive an item you ordered, or if you received a product different from the one that you ordered, please email us and we’ll take care of the rest!


Where do you ship?

Currently we ship to all 50 states, and we are in the process of providing international shipping to select markets. If you live outside the United States, please visit our Where to Buy page to search for your local retail store.

What shipping methods do you provide?

As of today, we offer three shipping methods:

1. Ground (3-5 business days): $5
2. 2nd Day Air (2 business days): $15
3. Priority Overnight (1 business day): $30

Ground shipping is free when you spend $50 or more.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed online Monday-Friday before 2pm EST will ship same day. Orders placed over the weekend will be shipped the following Monday and will be uploaded to our warehouse for fulfillment within 24 hours Monday-Friday. You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships.

Orders requesting Overnight Shipping can only be sent Monday-Friday and must be placed before 2PM EST in order to be delivered on the next business day. If you place an order on Friday your order will be delivered on the following Monday. If you place an overnight order on Saturday or Sunday it will be processed on Monday and received on Tuesday.

How long does it take to receive my tracking info?

In a few cases, the carrier takes 1-2 business days to register your shipment status, but most tracking info is provided the day of your order. If your tracking number isn’t updating or working at all, please reach out to us via

Are there limitations with shipping SPF within the U.S.?

Due to the delivery format of certain products (see below) FedEx requires a signature for delivery when they are shipped via 2-Day Air or Overnight. If there won’t be someone available to sign for the package please choose Ground shipping.
