Reviews

Great option to not ruin your make-up

"This is a go-to for me! I use the Protect(tint) as my foundation every morning, then I use the powder SPF to reapply SPF several times throughout the day to protect my skin. I have both the medium and dark shades depending on what time of year it is. Both blend really well! It’s pretty lightweight but not weightless. You can definitely feel that there is powder there, but I guess it depends on how much and how often you apply."

Best SPF powder! I wish there were refills

"I have purchased this product about 4 times now and I love it. It’s the perfect SPF powder and it works especially well for me since I have very oily skin. It makes my forehead especially look a bit more matte without needing to reapply a bunch each day. I love this stuff! Though now I have so many applicators… I wish they’d bring back the powder refills!"

Randee Z. (5/5)

Hard to use the brush

"I like the powder but I don't understand why there is a hard plastic tube in the middle of the brush. It makes it impossible to use the brush. There is no explanation or way to collapse it. Why is it there?"

Patricia L. (3/5)

Lack of refills is disappointing

"I used this for years, but the applicator brush doesn't work well so I use my own brush. It was great to be able to order the refill, but now that has been discontinued it is too wasteful to throw the brush away every time. I have switched brands."

Jen (2/5)

Keep it in your purse to use all day!

"Perfect light powder to keep in your purse. I put it on during the day for xtra protection as needed. It really works & simple to brush on."

Sue H. (5/5)

. 15 oz

"This is the smallest amount of powder for the price. I think the price should be a lot lower for the amount in the container. I haven’t even tried it."

Sonja H. (2/5)

Incomparable!

"I love this product and have not found a close comparison on the market. Well done, Supergoop!"

Jodie U. (5/5)

Terrible packaging, decent product

"Be really careful first time using it. You have to tug on the yellow thing really hard, and the powder might not come out for a long time. There's no stop on how far the open goes too, so I ended up spilling half of the product just trying to use it the firs time. The tube also always catches the brush bristles when you try to close it again. Would love slightly more shade variety. I know its hard to get mineral sunscreen right for anyone who has the tiniest bit of melanin, so would try again for the right shade."

SR (3/5)

Powder works as expected but closing/storage is awkward

"Would have liked a better direction on opening closing dispenser. Would be nice is the clear outer shell could slide up to enclose brush bristles neatly."

Christine R. (3/5)

Love this!

"It’s a repurchase for me. I love to use it on my scalp/part and on my daughters as well all summer."

Q&A

How do I order just the powder for the resetting mineral powder refills? I can’t find them on the website.
Hi Margo, We no longer sell the refills at this time, so sorry. The full product is available on supergoop.com! 🔆
I bought this item and followed all of the steps to open and use but the powder is still not coming out and on to my brush, even after trying to tap it?
Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! A member of our customer care team has reached out to you directly!
How do you clean the brush of the applicator?
It can be cleaned with warm water and soap! We suggest soaking it in for 5 minutes and then washing off all the excess residue.
How do you open and use?
Hi there, The yellow pin in the brush should be removed before applying the product to the face. Here are the instructions below: Remove the cap and slide down the clear plastic sleeve. Remove and discard the plastic yellow pin at the center of the brush. Twist the body of the brush from the CLOSED position to OPEN. Tilt and tap the brush gently against your wrist until you see the powder start to flow through the bristles. When your makeup is ready to go, brush the powder generously over your face to set the look and mattify your skin. Reapply throughout the day as needed. To close, twist the body of the brush from the OPEN position to CLOSED, pull up the clear plastic sleeve and snap the cap back on. I'll also include the link to a video that could be helpful as well... https://supergoop.com/products/mineral-setting-powder I hope that helps. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks and have a great day.
