Easy to use
"I love this sunscreen! It goes on so nicely and doesn’t make me look like a ghost. I switched to Supergoop because (unlike other sunscreens) I don’t feel gross and sticky so I don’t get fed up with having to use spf every day. It washes off well too- no scrubbing! My biggest skin concern is skin cancer."

"Our family has actually been using Super Goop products for a number of years now. The founder wanted to make a difference in saving people’s lives from cancer. She wanted to develop sunscreen products that people would want to wear that would protect them. She cared. The products feel so good to wear on your skin and you don’t see them or smell anything harsh. They even have mineral sunscreens which are protective of the earth’s waterways. Play Mineral Lotion SPF 30 is good for everyday, all year long. We’d like it in an SPF of 50 too for those days when we’re exposed to lots of sun."
Good sunscreen, unfair pricing
"Let's get it out of the way: this is good sunscreen for sensitive skin. Smooth feel, no white cast, not greasy. Great. However, I take a lot of issue with how uneven Supergoop makes the pricing and the availability of their mineral sunscreen compared to the chemical version. For one thing, this mineral Play suncreen is only available in a 1 fl oz travel/trial size or in 3. 4 fl oz. The "normal" Play sunscreen is available in 1, 2. 4 (which is also available as a two-pack), 5. 5, and 18 fl oz options. The big 18oz option even has refills. Why can't we get a nice, standard 5. 5 fl oz that will last me most, if not all, summer just because we have sensitive skin? Why must we be stuck on the short end of Pratchett's boots theory, doomed to have to pay much more over time because we have to buy a replacement more often? And then there's the price difference. 1 fl oz of "normal" Play sunscreen is $12 - the mineral version of the same size is $16. That's 33. 33% more expensive. Again, why are customers with sensitive skin getting punished? TL;DR - The sunscreen is good sunscreen. But Supergoop's disdain for its sensitive-skin customers is palpable."
Favorite mineral sunscreen!
"I have been using PLAY Mineral Lotion for at least 7 years. I have a light medium-medium complexion but I use this on my face and neck only. If you ever have trouble rubbing in, I like to wet my hands and leave them a bit damp which helps spread better."
No white cast mineral sunscreen
"My siblings rave about supergoop unseen sunscreen and I wanted to try a mineral sunscreen while pregnant with my third. I saw the play sunscreen was affordable and came in a mineral version so I decided to try it out. So far it provides ample protection, it’s easy to put on and doesn’t feel greasy or leave a white cast like traditional mineral sunscreen, and I haven’t had a new breakout since using it! I will be buying again from supergoop!"
