How to Apply

Use Lipscreen Shine on its own or as a glossy finish on top of your favorite lip color as part of your daily beauty routine.

  1. Apply Lipscreen Shine generously and evenly
  2. Reapply at least every 2 hours, after eating or drinking or throughout the day as needed

Your lips are one of the most sun-sensitive parts of your body, so it's important to keep them protected with daily SPF!

Uses

Helps prevent sunburn • If used as directed with other sun protection measures (see Directions), decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun

Warnings

For external use only • Do not use on damaged or broken skin • Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs • When using this product keep out of eyes • Rinse with water to remove • Keep out of reach of children • If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away

Directions

Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure • Reapply at least every 2 hours • Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating • Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with broad spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: • Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. • Wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses • Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor

It is hard to find a lip spf that's suitable for sensitive skin

"It is almost impossible to find a chemical sunscreen product formulated for your lips that is suitable for sensitive skin (i look for fragrance free/no dyes/no colors), and benzoates-free cuz i have a BoP/broad fragrance allergy. This is the closest lip spf i could find! Many others are physical sunscreens/mineral, which i've tried before, and the white cast is just hard to deal with. (I dont care if i'm at the beach, but for every day "out and about" i dont want the thick white cast). I took off 2 stars for 2 separate reasons: 1) this markets itself as non-sticky liquid, and it is definitely sticky. It's basically clear lip gloss. If it's *slightly* windy, my hair blows and gets stuck to my lips. 2) I found the doe foot is not enough to get enough product on to actually cover your whole lips (top & bottom). Idk why so little of it attaches to the doe foot, maybe bc the product is so thick. But i found that i need more than just 1 swipe to actually cover the entire lip, but i dont like having to pump the wand back in multiple times (esp because when you're out & about, you might have just eaten a snack, or for whatever reason you just might have "not sterile" lips compared to if you're just freshly leaving your house), and bacteria-wise, i just feel like i dont wanna have to put the want in more times than needed, esp if this tube is gonna last me quite a while. So i just cut the doe foot off, and i just dab the amount i need to a tissue, or if i ran out, the back of my knuckles (or wherever is the cleanest part of my hand that day, depending on what i touched), and then put it onto my lips. Supergoop's other lip product (PLAY lip balm) does not have a doe foot, and i used to use that one, but the crystallization issue was just insane. Too many bits / too gritty, which is why i switched to this one. I am not completely sold on this yet, I'm still on the hunt for the perfect lip spf for me. But for now, this is fine. Thank you!"
